Job Description
IT Specialist focusing on system integration and IT support at GESIDOR Dresden GmbH. Engaging in the administration and troubleshooting of systems and networks in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of client and server systems
- Handling change requests and incident reports from our customers
- Analysis and resolution of hardware and software error messages
- Point of contact for IT-related matters to ensure the secure operation of day-to-day business
- Support in planning, expanding, and optimizing IT infrastructure and IT processes
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience desirable but not required
- Good communication skills
- Experience administering Microsoft products
- Knowledge of network infrastructure such as Wi‑Fi, VLANs, routers and firewalls, and printers
- Knowledge of backup strategies — desirable
- Experience with Windows client management
- Pragmatic and analytical mindset and confident handling of PC hardware support
- Linux server knowledge would be an advantage (not mandatory)
