Job Description
Junior Support Engineer optimizing cloud infrastructure, cloud costs, and observability for Dadosfera’s Data, AI, and Analytics platform. Supporting engineering and data teams across AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and map current cloud costs, identifying waste and underutilized resources
- Implement rightsizing and autoscaling policies
- Negotiate and manage Savings Plans
- Create and maintain cost observability dashboards
- Define and enforce tagging policies
- Automate cost optimization routines
- Report savings achieved and recommend ongoing FinOps initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to balance cost and performance in architectural decisions
- Investigate technical issues
- Monitor cloud environments
- Support optimization of infrastructure and cloud costs
- Maintain visibility into infrastructure and cloud spend through dashboards and observability practices
Requirements:
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud), including infrastructure and provisioning
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Proficiency with cloud billing and cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing, or OCI Billing)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
