Job Description
Labor attorney at LBCA working on all procedural phases in labor law. Involvement includes execution pieces and court appearances.
Responsibilities:
- Practice in labor law across all procedural stages;
- Preparation of enforcement documents (such as objections to calculations, execution objections, interlocutory appeals, review appeals, writs of mandamus, among others);
- Reviewing court publications, minutes, and scheduling deadlines;
- Monitoring case progress and entering information into internal/client systems;
- Preparing for hearings, requesting documents and supporting evidence, requesting payments, and managing deadlines;
- Attending and conducting hearings.
Requirements:
- Ability to develop litigation strategies and to analyze information and documents for case management;
- Critical capacity to review judgments and court decisions and to draft appeals;
- Mediation skills;
- Postgraduate degree in labor law preferred;
- Essential knowledge of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure.
