Job Description

Labor attorney at LBCA working on all procedural phases in labor law. Involvement includes execution pieces and court appearances.

Responsibilities:

  • Practice in labor law across all procedural stages;
  • Preparation of enforcement documents (such as objections to calculations, execution objections, interlocutory appeals, review appeals, writs of mandamus, among others);
  • Reviewing court publications, minutes, and scheduling deadlines;
  • Monitoring case progress and entering information into internal/client systems;
  • Preparing for hearings, requesting documents and supporting evidence, requesting payments, and managing deadlines;
  • Attending and conducting hearings.

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop litigation strategies and to analyze information and documents for case management;
  • Critical capacity to review judgments and court decisions and to draft appeals;
  • Mediation skills;
  • Postgraduate degree in labor law preferred;
  • Essential knowledge of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure.
