Job Description
Lead Developer building and maintaining Hyland’s enterprise content intelligence software. Leading architecture, delivery pipelines, code quality, automation, and technical team development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop complex code based on functional specifications across teams and programs
- Complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards
- Maintain and improve the codebase, data design, performance, security, reliability, and quality
- Understand and contribute to software architecture
- Create initial implementation standards and guidelines for technical specifications
- Perform complex peer code reviews and analysis
- Assess the broader impact of software changes across teams and programs
- Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Share observations on team technical capabilities with leadership
- Design, contribute to, and lead implementation of the delivery pipeline
- Implement test automation, security, and performance practices
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience overseeing complex systems analysis, design, and development programs
- Mastery of one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Java/Spring or Angular/TypeScript
- Significant experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Significant demonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelines
- Experience with continuous software delivery, test automation, and continuous integration tools
- Expertise in guiding and growing the technical skills of fellow team members (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and program leadership (preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, including executive presence (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams through conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and shipping quality deliverables (preferred)
