Job Description
Technology leader delivering Humana software or hardware products from design through production. Driving validation, quality, technical support, and executive strategy across healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance
- Work with design engineering and test teams to drive products from design completion to volume production release
- Perform engineering tests to verify and validate product designs
- Support product evaluation and qualification on leading-edge technology components
- Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specifications and quality requirements
- Interact with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams
- Analyze and provide technical support to resolve customers' product-related problems and issues
- Advise executives on functional strategies, often segment-specific, on significant matters
- Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues
- Work under minimal supervision
- Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
- Experience with unit testing and mocking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
- Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to run large-scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
- Preferred: Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
- Preferred: Six Sigma certification
- Preferred: ITIL certification
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
