Job Description

Lead Web Content Developer modernizing federal Internet and Intranet sites for Makpar, a government technology solutions provider. Leading Drupal/.NET engineering, enterprise integrations, accessibility, and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical execution for agency Internet and Intranet website support and modernization activities
  • Oversee website performance, capacity, responsiveness, and traffic support
  • Provide hands-on full-stack technical leadership across Drupal and .NET-based web environments
  • Lead integrations involving Appian, SharePoint, and IBM DB2
  • Oversee organizational management and technical staff supporting contract requirements
  • Serve as responsible technical lead for Section 508 compliance
  • Develop and maintain accessible federal websites
  • Apply Agile, Lean, and SAFe project-management concepts
  • Support web modernization, maintenance, and modernization of public-facing and internal applications
  • Integrate web applications with enterprise platforms, databases, APIs, cloud environments, and government systems
  • Coordinate stakeholders, federal technical personnel, and contractor teams
  • Support practices aligned with federal cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, and enterprise architecture requirements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years of .NET experience
  • At least 5+ years of Drupal experience
  • Hands-on full-stack development experience
  • Demonstrated experience functioning as a team lead
  • Hands-on experience with Appian integration
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint integration
  • Hands-on experience with DB2 database integration
  • Experience with website design and creation in the federal government
  • 10+ years of experience in the federal sector
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 and skills sufficient to develop and maintain accessible federal websites
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field
  • Ability to meet personnel security requirements, including NACI or greater and DOL onboarding approval before beginning work
  • US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident with Green Card status for 3 years and Federal Tax compliant
  • Preferred/optional: Direct experience supporting DOL, WHD, or DOL OCIO environments
  • Preferred/optional: Experience modernizing federal legacy web applications from .NET to Drupal
  • Preferred/optional: Experience with large-scale public-facing Drupal environments
  • Preferred/optional: Experience integrating Drupal with federal case-management, workflow, or BPM platforms
  • Preferred/optional: Experience with AWS/cloud environments
  • Preferred/optional: Experience implementing DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Preferred/optional: Experience with federal UX/Human-Centered Design and U.S. Web Design Standards
  • Preferred/optional: Experience supporting federal ATO processes and security compliance
  • Preferred/optional: Experience in multi-contractor federal development environments
  • Preferred/optional: Experience supporting mission-critical applications through concurrent O&M and modernization
