Job Description
On-camera creator producing educational test-prep and degree-completion videos for Study.com’s YouTube and TikTok channels. Explaining complex topics through engaging long- and short-form presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Record instructional videos for YouTube long-form and TikTok short-form formats
- Present test strategies, exam overviews, content explanations, practice problem walkthroughs, career advice, and degree-completion advice
- Deliver content in a clear, concise, encouraging style
- Maintain a consistent, professional on-screen presence
- Demonstrate concepts using a dry-erase board, tablet/stylus, or pen-and-paper with clear handwriting
- Follow Study.com's brand and presenter guidelines
- Incorporate feedback and revise delivery as needed
- Work from provided scripts and practice problems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, or similar platforms, including short-form vertical 9:16 and long-form 16:9 work
- Confident, natural on-camera presentation skills and ability to explain complex ideas simply
- Reliable camera with HD 1080p minimum
- External microphone
- Good lighting
- Tablet/stylus or dry-erase board, and printer if needed
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback
- Bachelor's degree or advanced expertise in test-prep subject areas preferred
- Experience working from scripts or writing instructional scripts preferred
- Background creating educational or tutorial content preferred
- Experience presenting to adult or nontraditional learners preferred
- Familiarity with short-form content pacing, hooks, and trends preferred
- Military experience is a plus for ASVAB content, not required
- Expertise in at least one relevant subject area preferred
