Job Description
AI governance specialist developing production-standard compliance content for Jala University, which delivers practical software education. Translating AI regulations into actionable technical design constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Develop compliance-mapping content as a production-standard deliverable
- Apply regulatory frameworks to a concrete technical case
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable design constraints
- Collaborate closely with a technical architect
- Create versioned templates and maintain traceability of compliance decisions
- Explain technical or regulatory work in writing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with an applied track record in AI compliance/governance
- Can build their portion of the artifact personally, to production standard — the compliance-mapping section is a deliverable, not a legal opinion handed to someone else to implement
- Public track record of explaining technical or regulatory work in writing
- Documentation discipline — versioned templates, traceability of every compliance decision
- Professional written English — the language of instruction for the program
- Experience applying real regulatory frameworks to a concrete technical case, not just abstract legal knowledge
- Ability to work shoulder to shoulder with a technical architect and translate regulatory requirements into actionable design constraints
- Familiarity with the EU AI Act, MX LFPDPPP-2025, BR LGPD and Bill 2338/2023, CO CONPES 4144, or an equivalent set covering the EU AI Act plus at least two Latin American regimes
Benefits:
- Remote work modality (home office)
- Joining a dynamic and growing organization with international reach
