Job Description
Content Producer Intern editing and producing video series for Tallo, a career-development platform connecting young people with careers, scholarships, training, and employers.
Responsibilities:
- Edit content for the Real Careers, Real Journeys video series
- Support the Work Based Learning team with quick video-production turnaround
- Shadow marketing professionals and assist with ad hoc marketing projects
- Contribute ideas to the overall marketing strategy
- Attend weekly check-ins and brainstorming sessions
- Attend events as needed
- Develop video ideas and help redesign the video experience and strategy
- Test concepts for reusable content
- Host, present, conduct interviews, and engage with audiences during live and recorded events
- Host video sessions
- Write video scripts
- Schedule video-related activities
- Collaborate with the Work Based Learning and Marketing teams
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Experience editing video content
- Good written and verbal communication
- Basic familiarity with Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut and iMovie
- Ability to create and use a Tallo account
- Ability to work 10–20 hours per week
- Ability to clear a required background check
- Enjoyment of video editing and an eye for the craft
- Willingness to learn new video editing tools
- Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed
- Organizational skills for tracking deadlines and projects
- Ability to attend weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Interest in creating content that helps teens and young adults
- Reliability in meeting deadlines
- No certificates or licenses required
