Job Description
Legal Counsel supporting Insulet’s medical-device business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Reviewing commercial agreements and managing legal risks in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day legal support for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance teams
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, SOWs, HCP engagements, consultancy and sponsorship arrangements, distributor-related matters, and marketing activities
- Assist with legal and compliance reviews and promotional material approvals
- Support privacy matters
- Identify and manage legal risks in a highly regulated medical device environment
- Support specific European projects where required
Requirements:
- Qualified German Lawyer
- Demonstrated firm and/or inhouse experience
- Experience with commercial transactions
- Direct to consumer transaction experience is desirable
- Experience working within a regulated industry
- Previous in-house experience with medical device or other life science company an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage legal risks for complex strategic transactions
- Fluent English and German; other European languages a plus
