Job Description
Legal Counsel drafting commercial agreements and advising on AI regulation for Noxtua, Europe’s Legal AI platform. Building automated legal processes and toolkits for legal professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including enterprise customer contracts, publisher and partner agreements, and vendor and procurement terms
- Advise Product and Engineering on translating legal and regulatory requirements into product decisions
- Turn the Legal function into a working showcase of a fully automated LegalTech department
- Drive structured analysis of Legal processes to identify automation and AI opportunities and embed them into process redesign
- Advise on company-wide AI initiatives from a Legal and regulatory perspective
- Build templates, playbooks, escalation thresholds, and self-service guidance for the business
- Collaborate with the wider team on regulatory requirements, product features, customer negotiations, and procurement negotiations
- Report to the Chief Legal Officer
Requirements:
- Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in)
- First and Second State Examination, both with above-average results
- At least two years of post-qualification experience in an international law firm and/or in-house
- Experience with commercial contracts drafted and negotiated independently is ideal
- Ability to own B2B and SaaS agreements end to end
- Ability to negotiate with enterprise counterparties
- Genuine interest in LegalTech and AI regulation, including the EU AI Act and professional-secrecy questions specific to legal practice
- Pragmatic and self-directed approach
- Excellent drafting skills in German and English
