Job Description
Legal Counsel advising Skylum, creator of AI-powered photo editing software, on contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and international legal risks.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and revise commercial contracts, policies, and other legal documents
- Protect and register intellectual property rights
- Ensure legal compliance across data protection, marketing, payments, and consumer rights
- Provide legal support, research, and consultation on day-to-day operations
- Analyze and mitigate potential legal risks
- Work with financial institutions on account opening, KYC, and compliance procedures
- Liaise with law firms and service providers across different jurisdictions
- Assist with potential legal disputes
Requirements:
- Master's degree / LLM from a reputable university
- 5+ years of experience in international or top-tier law firms, or in legal roles at IT companies
- Fluent English
- Experience working across international jurisdictions
- Strong background in contract law and intellectual property rights
- Knowledge of corporate and tax structuring is a plus
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive mindset and willingness to work on a broad range of legal matters
- Ability to think creatively to solve complex issues
- Ability to multitask with a keen eye for detail
- Cross-cultural experience is a plus
- Positive attitude and high aptitude for learning new things
