Job Description
Legal Assistant supporting attorneys with court filings and document management in a remote position. Requires 3-5 years of legal support experience and proficiency in Filevine, Nextiva, and GSuite.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule hearings, meetings, and deadlines.
- File documents with the court in compliance with procedural requirements.
- Save and organize documents within the Case Management System.
- Perform e-filing with courts and legal systems.
- Prepare general form pleadings for attorney review.
- Support attorneys with administrative and litigation tasks as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
- Translate for Spanish-speaking clients when needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of prior experience in legal support or administrative assistance preferred.
- Software: Filevine, Nextiva, GSuite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
- Strong record-keeping and document management skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
