Job Description
Legal Secretary supporting attorneys in Salt Lake City office with at least 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include pleadings, discovery, and e-filing work.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in the Salt Lake City office.
- Handle pleadings, discovery, and motion preparation.
- Manage e-filing in state and federal court.
- Oversee case management and docketing tasks.
- Conduct document review and prepare exhibits.
- Work independently and with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm.
- Familiarity with Utah State and Federal Rules preferred.
- Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery.
- Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court.
- Case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
- Experience with insurance defense and commercial litigation is a must.
