Job Description

Legal Secretary supporting attorneys in Salt Lake City office with at least 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include pleadings, discovery, and e-filing work.

Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in the Salt Lake City office.
  • Handle pleadings, discovery, and motion preparation.
  • Manage e-filing in state and federal court.
  • Oversee case management and docketing tasks.
  • Conduct document review and prepare exhibits.
  • Work independently and with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm.
  • Familiarity with Utah State and Federal Rules preferred.
  • Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery.
  • Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court.
  • Case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Experience with insurance defense and commercial litigation is a must.
