Job Description
Licensed counselor providing remote outpatient telehealth mental health care at Brave Health. Conducting assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
- Deliver mental health treatment using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Complete comprehensive assessments and treatment planning
- Work in partnership with clients to achieve their goals
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan, including patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Participate in qualified clinical supervision when applicable
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Private work-from-home space suitable for patient safety and HIPAA requirements
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to use comprehensive assessments
- Availability for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule with 9am–6pm or 10am–7pm CT shifts
- Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Experience with substance abuse and addiction disorders
- Experience with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
- Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
