Job Description
Liquid Chromatography Product Specialist driving sales of chromatography products in the US and Canada. Building customer relationships, maintaining sales funnels, and collaborating with marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of liquid chromatography products within the US and Canada
- Maintain own funnel and carry a sales quota
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Serve as technical point of contact at key strategic accounts
- Focus on strategic and competitive opportunities to capture market share
- Deliver product/workflow presentations and coordinate demonstrations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software
- Regularly participate in relevant industry events
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry or adjacent field
- 2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry
- Deep technical understanding of Agilent’s full portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications
- Knowledgeable in the informatics solutions and associated compliance requirements of the LC market is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory
