Job Description

Mainframe Licensing Consultant responsible for customer contracts and licensing models at Broadcom. Collaborating with diverse teams to ensure pricing and contract compliance in remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for influencing and structuring strong, transparent customer contracts
  • Ensure customers leverage the correct licensing model for their business
  • Work with a variety of resources including mainframe leadership, sales, legal, and customers
  • Recommend appropriate license model, Terms & Conditions, and pricing
  • Partner with Mainframe Business Specialists and customers for presentations
  • Collaborate with peers to review and evaluate licensing and pricing standards
  • Provide training and consultation on mainframe positions and licensing programs
  • Regular updates & presentations to Sr. Management
  • Independent and collaborative work, requiring daily decision-making

Requirements:

  • Experience in software licensing/pricing
  • Problem Solving Skills, Analytical Skills & Attention to Detail
  • Excellent Communication & Presentations Skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of an extended team
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Google Suite
  • Patience and Emotional Intelligence
  • Positive Attitude & Resilience
  • Ability to Prioritize and communicate changes in priority, delays, or roadblocks
  • Familiarity with Software Contracts including terms & conditions
  • Knowledge of Telemetry & License Management Reporting & Tools (including IBM ISV SCRT Reports)
  • Ability to quickly learn a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills
