Job Description

Manager, General Counsel role at Nonprofit Finance Fund overseeing loan compliance and documentation. Managing post-closing requirements and supporting the General Counsel department operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the post-closing requirements of core fund loans
  • Close special loan fund loans
  • Handle documentation related to extensions and amendments of portfolio loans
  • Provide broad support to various functional areas in the General Counsel department
  • Ensure that lending activities are executed with rigor, compliance, and care
  • Assist with compliance and documentation

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, paralegal studies, public administration, or a related field; equivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and experience will be considered
  • Five (5) years of professional experience as a paralegal or similar role in a law firm with a focus on financial transactions, corporate transactional work including project finance, securities, structured finance or public finance law
  • Advanced skills managing multiple concurrent projects or transactions, with responsibility for tracking timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with internal stakeholders and external parties
