Job Description

Manager, Learning Design leading the design and optimization of Geisinger’s learning ecosystem. Overseeing LMS team while partnering with stakeholders on learning solutions and workforce development.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, delivery, and optimization of the organization’s learning ecosystem, with primary ownership of the Learning Management System (LMS) and learning design standards
  • Oversees the LMS team and leaders responsible for individual contributor learning programs, including new hire orientation and School at Work (SAW)
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with enterprise priorities and support system-wide workforce development
  • Develops and enforces policies for content quality, lifecycle management, and vendor utilization
  • Drives consistency and scalability of learning solutions across clinical, operational, and administrative functions
  • Aligns onboarding and workforce development programs with enterprise talent strategy and employee experience goals

Requirements:

  • Progressive experience in Learning & Development, including LMS leadership and program oversight
  • Experience managing enterprise learning programs such as onboarding and career pathways
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience (Required)
