Job Description

Wholesale Manager leading sales and operations for Canopy Growth's pharmaceutical business in Germany. Responsible for strategy development, customer relations, and revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the pharmaceutical wholesale strategy for Germany in alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective planning, operational execution, and portfolio management.
  • Define and implement pricing and margin management strategies.
  • Build and maintain key strategic customer relationships.
  • Own and achieve revenue, profit, and wholesale P&L targets.
  • Expand existing customer relationships and develop new business partnerships.
  • Lead S&OP processes to ensure high customer satisfaction and alignment of deliveries.
  • Analyze market, pricing, and performance trends to optimize outcomes.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Lead and grow the wholesale business in collaboration with cross-functional and international stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a management role within wholesale, preferably in an international company with a strong track record.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is an advantage, ideally in the cannabis sector.
  • Interest in cannabis.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Thrive in an autonomous role while able to navigate a matrix organization.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office and experienced with CRM systems.
  • Entrepreneurial, passionate, creative, and future-oriented personality who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
