Job Description

Airbnb Market Manager growing professional host supply and managing partner accounts across Western Canada. Driving sales, optimizing listings, and building localized market strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage partner relationships within the assigned territory
  • Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Analyze data and apply data-driven recommendations to identify and act on strategic sales opportunities
  • Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply in the assigned geography
  • Support clients regarding the technical integration of software partners
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts and industry conferences
  • Educate clients about product changes and relay product and policy feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Stay current on Canadian short-term rental regulations at federal, provincial, and municipal levels
  • Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners
  • Develop strong, long-lasting partnerships
  • Become the source of information on local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
  • Provide timely, efficient service and occasional in-person support to professional hosts
  • Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, and customer support teams

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support
  • Fluency in English required
  • 2+ years of tech or travel industry experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage a leads pipeline and book of business
  • Proficient quantitative skills and ability to interpret and apply data
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically and execute in ambiguous environments
  • Proven cross-functional work experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Highly proficient in CRM software, including leads, opportunities, and core objects
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Based in British Columbia or Alberta
  • Willingness to regularly travel to the assigned territory, typically once every quarter
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy
  • Mandarin or Cantonese bilingual ability receives special consideration
