Job Description
Marketing analytics expert designing realistic task environments for Mercor’s AI-agent training projects. Evaluating data diagnosis, attribution, reporting, and multi-tool decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on hands-on marketing analytics work
- Identify what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against expert standards
- Create and pressure-test Marketing Analytics environments for evaluating and improving AI agents
- Address anomaly detection, channel-performance synthesis, cross-source reconciliation, attribution and incrementality analysis, and decision-support reporting
- Assess capabilities including diagnosis, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in marketing analytics; must have owned this work rather than only managed people who do it
- Fluent in Google Analytics 4
- Fluent in a product analytics tool such as Amplitude
- Fluent in a CRM such as Salesforce
- Fluent in ad platform reporting
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to marketing analytics
- Must work as an independent contractor
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
