Job Description
Social media expert designing realistic brand-social tasks and evaluation rubrics for Mercor’s AI training environments. Reviewing agent performance across campaigns, analytics, inboxes, and publishing workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real social media work, including the planted issue and the decision a strong practitioner should reach
- Specify documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong responses
- Review AI agent attempts against practitioner standards
- Diagnose issues from messy or conflicting data
- Prioritize and make tradeoffs
- Plan and execute social media work
- Perform QA and reconciliation
- Handle triage and escalation
- Conduct research and evaluation
- Prepare reporting
- Orchestrate multi-step work across several tools
- Work on social inbox management, campaign and publishing execution, share-of-voice analysis, and response judgment calls for owned brand channels
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience running brand social
- Experience owning the social media account and inbox
- Fluent in a social management platform such as Sprout Social
- Comfortable reading native platform analytics
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning
- Completion of a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the social media sub-domain
- Must work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
