Job Description
Mechanical Project Manager at Waymaker Resource Group overseeing nuclear energy projects. Responsible for leading project execution, client communication, and performance tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Management Office in execution of projects
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels, escalating issues as necessary
- Provide schedule and budget updates as required by client and WRG
- Ability to work remotely and travel to customer and project sites as required
- Ability to independently communicate with clients and partners in a professional, technically competent manner
- Track deadlines, action items, and project deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Maintain shared documents and drive organization through consistent digital file management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in the nuclear energy industry
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager or Engineer or related Engineering Degree preferred
- PMP preferred
- Hands-on experience with EVMS, MS Project/Primavera P6
- Ability to travel on-site and ability to gain unescorted access at US nuclear, DOE and DOD sites
