Job Description

Medical Affairs Scientist advancing Pfizer’s medical strategy and patient outcomes in Poland. Building scientific partnerships, generating insights, and supporting clinical trials and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with HCPs, KOLs, authorities, and scientific stakeholders as a peer
  • Generate, document, synthesize, and compliantly share actionable medical insights
  • Disseminate scientific insights using omnichannel and digital platforms
  • Communicate insights to medical leadership, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Support the Country Medical Lead in external engagement
  • Formulate and execute prioritized medical plans, including KOL mapping
  • Execute and lead local projects, events, and omnichannel activities
  • Build relationships with medical societies, regulators, patient advocacy groups, and payors
  • Represent Pfizer’s medical interests at external forums and scientific events
  • Serve as scientific point of contact for assigned therapeutic areas in-country
  • Support the local clinical trial environment, including protocol feasibility, site identification, investigator engagement, and recruitment
  • Collaborate with medical, access, regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams
  • Contribute to cluster-level medical and brand strategies
  • Uphold ethical standards, scientific integrity, and compliance
  • Maintain current skills and knowledge
  • Support regulatory and pharmacovigilance compliance activities

Requirements:

  • Advanced healthcare or scientific degree coupled with deep pharmaceutical experience and knowledge
  • A medical degree (MD) or equivalent and board certification, or TA-related PhD and post-doctoral experience is desirable
  • Robust scientific and medical experience, including clinical or research experience
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, local healthcare systems, and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze medical data and generate insights
  • Fluent business and medical English
  • Additional languages as required by market
  • Stakeholder management across healthcare professionals, KOLs, scientific experts, medical societies, regulators, payors, government health agencies, patient advocacy groups, and internal cross-functional teams
