Job Description

Medical Economics Analytics Manager at Trillium Health Resources overseeing finance-related duties and analytics operations. Ensure compliance and lead the team for effective reporting and innovation in healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Trillium Health Resources Medical Economics MLR and IBNR reporting and ensure compliance with related regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Work with the Director of Medical Economics to model the financial impacts of policy changes and clinical decisions.
  • Develop and promote best practices and drive innovation through various types of data.
  • Oversee the development of Medical Economics reporting and participate in various organization-wide process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide direct supervision to analytics staff, including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline and termination procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a business-related field and three (3) years of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and one (1) year of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in the healthcare industry and five (5) years’ experience with healthcare analytics, statistics, or data management and one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Supervisory experience of two (2) or more employees
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
