Job Description

Lead Membership Manager overseeing OPTN membership processes and compliance. Managing applications and maintaining records while engaging stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages member organization's service operations to deliver member satisfaction and achieve strategic goals
  • Overseeing individual process membership application from intake through decision
  • Implements programs and initiatives to engage current members and follows service operational standards and policies to deliver efficient services to members
  • Monitor member performance and adherence to OPTN policies, bylaws, and regulatory standards
  • Conduct routine reviews of member information and identify potential deficiencies or areas for improvement
  • Analyze membership applications and update requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards
  • Prepare application summaries and support committees reviewing membership requests
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of member performance metrics and trends
  • Utilize dashboards and other documentation to support compliance reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and policy enforcement efforts
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from transplant centers, OPOs, and laboratories regarding membership applications, compliance, and policy-related questions
  • Maintain accurate records of applications, reviews, and membership data within tracking systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Policy, Business Administration, Healthcare, Customer Service, or a related field
  • At least 6 years’ experience in roles involving policy compliance, operational oversight, healthcare processes, or customer service
  • Strong abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
  • Experience in working within data-driven systems or databases is preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with members and stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Customer Service experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
