Job Description

Poultry Technical Manager providing technical support in poultry farming to enhance animal health. Collaborating with customers and internal teams to drive strategic initiatives in the southern German region.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical-scientific support for customers with a focus on poultry production, including product and diagnostic consulting and translating scientific findings into practice.
  • Development, planning and implementation of account/territory strategies, with particular emphasis on key accounts in southern Germany.
  • Analysis of market and customer needs, identification and evaluation of potential, sales forecasting and continuous monitoring.
  • Conducting trainings and professional events, and preparing training and informational materials.
  • Contributing to and supporting field studies, and assisting with clinical activities and studies (e.g. study design, evaluation, reporting).
  • Building, maintaining and strategically developing networks with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), major accounts, universities and industry associations.
  • Ensuring that all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements (in particular the German Medicines Act (Arzneimittelgesetz), animal medicines regulations and pharmacovigilance).
  • Close cooperation with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs) and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine (licensure/authorization to practice), ideally with additional qualifications in animal health/diagnostics/management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in veterinary field sales, key account management and technical management in the poultry/animal health sector.
  • Experience working with major accounts and scientific institutions.
  • Excellent German and English language skills and confident use of MS Office and CRM systems.
