Job Description
Mobile Developer building React Native apps for PerfectServe’s healthcare communication platform. Supporting iOS and Android features, API integrations, debugging, and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the guidance of senior mobile engineers.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific quirks between iOS and Android.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
- Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
- Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings when expected.
- Work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and pivot between front-end, integration, and debugging work based on priorities and business needs.
Requirements:
- Some prior technical experience in mobile development, software development, or a related technical area OR a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another programming/technology-related field from an accredited higher education institution.
- Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including React fundamentals such as components, state, props, and hooks.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
- Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and an interest in building skills across both iOS and Android.
- Experience using Git for version control and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Health IT experience (a plus)
- Ability to communicate with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Depending on assignment, ability to visit other locations or stand, walk, and manipulate light to medium weights of 10–50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information.
