Job Description
Oracle Transportation Management Architect specializing in solutions for logistics and supply chain. Leading functional and technical architecture for efficient transportation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define the functional and technical architecture of OTM-based solutions
- Lead the design of integrations between OTM and corporate systems such as ERP, WMS, logistics visibility platforms, and legacy systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions that adhere to transportation best practices
- Establish configuration, development, integration, and governance standards for the solution
- Serve as the technical reference for functional consultants, technical teams, and integration teams
- Support design decisions related to performance, volumetrics, planning rules, and optimization strategies
- Review and validate functional and technical specifications produced by project teams
- Conduct impact analyses for new requirements, rollouts, and platform enhancements
- Support integrated testing, cutover, and go-live strategies from an architectural perspective
- Ensure OTM solution alignment with corporate architecture guidelines and information security policies
Requirements:
- Proven, solid experience as an architect or technical lead on OTM projects
- Deep knowledge of planning, execution, and freight settlement modules
- Strong understanding of transportation processes, load consolidation, routing, optimization, and freight management
- Experience with integration architectures involving OTM and ERPs such as Oracle ERP Cloud and SAP S/4HANA
- Experience designing integration strategies (batch, near real-time, APIs, messaging)
- Experience with logistics data modeling and data governance
- Knowledge of advanced configuration of agents, events, workflows, and automations in OTM
- Ability to assess technical and functional impacts of complex changes to the solution
