Job Description
Outpatient Supervisor coordinating Gateway Rehabilitation Center’s Hope from Home telehealth program. Supporting patient coordination, clinical documentation, authorizations, funding, and treatment continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operations of Gateway Rehabilitation Center’s Telehealth services and Hope from Home Program
- Coordinate patients and serve as a liaison among patients, clinical staff, providers, and funding resources
- Review clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy and regulatory standards
- Track insurance authorizations and funding
- Identify gaps in authorizations, funding contracts, service codes, documentation, and patient support needs
- Maintain patient tracking databases
- Support telehealth clinical communication
- Attend clinical meetings
- Help resolve scheduling or coverage concerns
- Provide clinical treatment coverage when needed to support continuity of care
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or another related field
- At least one year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency working directly with individuals with substance use disorders
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment practices and clinical documentation standards
- Understanding of medical necessity, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge planning requirements
- Knowledge of insurance authorizations, funding sources, and payer requirements
- Strong crisis assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records, telehealth platforms, Microsoft Office, and related technology systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with clinical staff, providers, patients, and funding resources
- Knowledge of confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional ethical standards
- Pass a PA Criminal Background Check
- Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances
- Pass Drug Screen
- Complete a 2-Step TB Test
- Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
