Job Description

Partner Solutions Engineer enabling DevRev’s AI-powered work platform through resellers, OEMs, integrators, and alliances. Leading technical presales, solution design, partner training, and co-selling.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate DevRev platform features, benefits, and business value.
  • Translate partner business models and objectives into DevRev-aligned solutions.
  • Support solution discovery, architecture, and proposal creation during sales cycles.
  • Deliver partner enablement through product updates, bootcamps, SE shadowing, technical workshops, and joint solution co-creation.
  • Enable partners to independently conduct pre-sales motions and contribute to regional revenue growth.
  • Support demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Guide and manage technical evaluations and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Collaborate with support and product teams to resolve technical roadblocks.
  • Capture and relay product feedback, partner insights, and customer pain points.
  • Co-create enablement plans, certification pathways, role-based training modules, technical goals, and milestone tracking.
  • Lead certification bootcamps and instructor-led enablement tracks.
  • Host Expert Sessions on product releases and best practices.
  • Scale enablement across partner organizations.
  • Develop strategic relationships with partner architects and C-level leaders.
  • Conduct roadmap alignment sessions and technical QBRs.
  • Build and maintain partner organization charts and communication matrices.
  • Champion DevRev within partner organizations and support partner-driven upsell and cross-sell motions.
  • Collaborate with Field SEs and Solution Architects for co-selling and support.
  • Build a technical partner community through roundtables, regional events, and community forums.
  • Mentor technical champions within partner organizations.
  • Maintain visibility through LinkedIn, blog posts, forums, and content contributions.
  • Support media, co-marketing, reference case development, and campaign efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience at B2B SaaS or platform vendor(s) in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a partner-focused role.
  • Proven track record delivering technical demos, workshops, and tailored solution proposals.
  • Strong technical acumen explaining complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis, identifying partner white-space, and influencing roadmap direction.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including out-of-country or overseas travel.
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom, ServiceNow, HubSpot, Datadog, PagerDuty, Sentry, Slack, Notion, and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Bash.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Skill with CLI tools, Git, JSON/YAML, log parsing, and basic SQL.
  • Experience with Postman, Beeceptor, Docker, VS Code, and GitHub.
  • Exposure to low-code platforms and workflow builders; frontend familiarity with React, Tailwind, Flask, and HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype using Cursor, Claude Code, and MCP.
  • Comfort with prompt design and LLM-based workflows.
  • Experience with GenAI use cases including conversational AI, ticket deflection and triage, and AI assistants and agents.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, middleware, APIs, frontend/backend layers, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, HTTP, DNS, authentication, and proxies.
  • Experience modeling AI-driven workflows and SaaS use cases.
  • Ability to design incident resolution loops, product feedback cycles, and end-to-end service operations.
  • Ability to co-create embedded offerings with partners leveraging DevRev’s building blocks.
