Job Description

Partnerships Lead at NerdWallet managing RIA partner acquisition and marketplace growth through strategic partnerships and sales lifecycle management. Driving revenue targets and optimizing partner experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive marketplace growth by identifying, engaging, and launching new RIA partners, owning the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through signed agreement and onboarding to meet quarterly revenue targets
  • Contribute to quarterly revenue goals by developing and managing a strong, well-qualified pipeline aligned to strategic priorities
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists and execute thoughtful, multi-channel outreach strategies across email, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry events
  • Design and refine scalable sales processes, cadences, and playbooks that improve partner onboarding rates and reduce time to launch
  • Develop deep expertise in the RIA ecosystem and competitive landscape to inform targeting, positioning, and long-term channel strategy
  • Represent NerdWallet at relevant industry conferences and events to build meaningful relationships and generate qualified opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally to test and optimize messaging, pricing structures, and go-to-market approaches based on performance data and partner feedback
  • Continuously assess evolving market needs and share insights that influence product development, pricing strategy, and overall marketplace experience

Requirements:

  • 6+ of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or a related growth-focused role
  • Experience managing a full partnership or sales lifecycle, with demonstrated ability to build and convert a qualified pipeline against defined performance goals
  • Familiarity with the RIA, wealth management, financial services, or fintech ecosystem
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to influence pricing, go-to-market strategy, or partner experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a range of audiences
  • Comfort using data and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining organization and follow-through
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 40% of the time to support partner development and industry engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
