Job Description
Personal Lines Producer developing business and advising Trucordia brokerage clients on homeowners, auto, umbrella, and other personal insurance coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients
- Present customized insurance solutions, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, earthquake, and personal articles floaters
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients' personal and family insurance needs
- Create and present insurance proposals and quotations
- Explain policy terms, conditions, and pricing
- Review policy renewals for cross-sell opportunities and coverage gaps
- Communicate with clients about increased renewal premiums
- Identify potential savings during coverage reviews
- Remarket to different carriers as necessary
- Keep clients informed about market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on sales performance and account activities
Requirements:
- Valid Property and Casualty License
- 3 years of experience in personal lines sales
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize risks and manage concurrent workflow
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of homeowners and personal auto coverage
- Developing knowledge of personal insurance markets to place new business and understand the supplemental insurance marketplace
- Strong sales acumen
- Experience with AMS 360
