Job Description
Director of Pharmacy Regulatory Compliance managing compliance operations and a high-performing team at Cigna Healthcare. Ensuring adherence to pharmacy regulations and strategic regulatory planning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals.
- Monitor evolving requirements including critical state government trends, proposed legislation, regulations, and industry issues.
- Oversee day-to-day compliance activities including audits, monitoring, issue management, and reporting needs.
- Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Partner with legal, operations, technology, and business teams to ensure compliance is embedded into processes and decision-making.
- Lead regulatory oversight to promote best practices and consistency in regulatory reporting.
- Lead the development and delivery of compliance training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, PharmD) preferred.
- 5+ years plus of experience in healthcare or pharmacy compliance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of pharmacy regulations, including CMS, DEA, FDA, and state boards of pharmacy.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex compliance programs.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
