Job Description

Principal Identity Governance Lead redesigning human and non-human identity governance for Hyland’s AI-powered content platform. Building secure, compliant IAM frameworks across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and redesign identity governance and administration architecture with third-party consulting firms
  • Architect an integrated identity program covering human and non-human identities, including service accounts, API tokens, AI agents, and bots
  • Design governance frameworks, role-based access control models, delegation patterns, standards, and controls across cloud and on-premises systems
  • Lead third-party assessment and redesign partnerships, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
  • Collaborate with IAM and PAM operations leadership to integrate governance frameworks into daily operations
  • Establish workflows and approval processes for provisioning, recertification, deprovisioning, and privilege elevation
  • Create identity governance models and hierarchies supporting ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and emerging AI governance requirements
  • Drive organizational adoption through communication, training, change management, and executive alignment
  • Establish metrics, monitoring, and reporting for IGA program effectiveness
  • Advise leadership on identity strategy, emerging threats, regulatory changes, and prioritized technology improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in identity management
  • At least 5 years of experience in SaaS cloud-native environments
  • Expertise in identity governance frameworks, role-based access control design, privileged access management, and IAM architecture
  • Experience leading large-scale identity program transformations, assessments, and implementations across enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud identity platforms, directory services, and federation technologies
  • Experience with API security, service account management, and non-human identity governance
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2 compliance requirements related to identity and access control
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive leadership engagement
  • Facilitation and project management skills
  • Experience with Okta and Azure Entra
  • Knowledge of systems administration and Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, provide feedback, manage projects independently, handle sensitive information, and deliver presentations
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CISA, or IAM-specific credentials preferred
