Job Description
Pro Network Manager overseeing contractor coverage, performance, and conversion for Yardzen’s technology-driven outdoor renovation platform. Managing partner relationships from matching through signed build contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality contractor coverage across core and strategic partner markets
- Partner with the Contractor Operations Manager to recruit, onboard, train, and support contractors
- Identify contractor-capacity and market-coverage gaps and develop plans to address them
- Strengthen Yardzen’s reputation among landscape contractors to support recruitment and retention
- Serve as the primary relationship and performance partner for active contractors
- Set expectations for responsiveness, site walks, estimate delivery, client follow-up, and contract submission
- Coach underperforming contractors, implement performance-improvement plans, and recommend removal when necessary
- Recognize high-performing contractors and strengthen those relationships
- Lead contractor check-ins, town halls, roundtables, and performance conversations
- Provide leadership with visibility into contractor performance, trends, and risks
- Monitor contractor opportunities from initial matching through signed build contract
- Partner with Project Managers to resolve stalled opportunities
- Lead pipeline reviews and document owners, next steps, and timelines
- Use data to identify trends, improve pipeline progression, and drive design-to-build conversion
- Maintain reporting on contractor activity, pipeline health, market coverage, and conversion performance
Requirements:
- Five or more years of experience in contractor management, account management, partnerships, marketplace operations, or a related field
- Experience in landscaping, residential construction, home services, or a closely related industry is required
- Track record of managing contractors or external partners against defined performance expectations
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence leading direct, constructive performance conversations
- Experience improving pipeline progression, conversion, or partner performance
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of partners and opportunities
- Proactive, hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Must be located in a state where Yardzen is registered as an employer
