Job Description
Procurement and Vendor Manager owning supplier lifecycles, negotiations, renewals, and compliance. Supporting Progress Partners’ global SaaS and mobile platforms through vendor savings and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full vendor lifecycle, including sourcing and evaluating providers, onboarding, relationship management, renewals, and offboarding
- Prepare and execute contract negotiations by researching market rates, building negotiation strategies, and securing better pricing and terms
- Manage renewals proactively by tracking dates, reviewing terms in advance, and preventing unfavorable automatic renewals
- Build and maintain a central vendor and contract registry with automated workflows for agreements, terms, owners, and obligations
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance, including SLAs, deliverables, and contractual obligations
- Resolve vendor issues before they become problems
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand needs and consolidate overlapping tools and services
- Provide leadership with visibility into vendor spend and savings
Requirements:
- 5+ years in vendor management, procurement, supply chain, or contract administration
- Experience in an international, multi-vendor environment preferred
- Hands-on negotiation and contract management experience
- Proven track record of improving supplier terms and ensuring compliance with agreed conditions
- Experience digitizing documentation and reporting workflows and replacing manual tracking with automated, transparent systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
- Ability to manage dozens of active agreements and deadlines
- Ability to use data to compare offers and demonstrate savings
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English
- Experience with cross-border agreements, SaaS or digital service providers, or fast-growing remote companies is a nice to have
