Job Description
Product Development Manager overseeing product development from concept to launch in the nail beauty sector. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all product-related development projects from idea to launch while ensuring quality, cost and regulatory requirements are met
- Advise internal stakeholders on all product and compliance matters
- Ensure correct product labeling and communication across all channels
- Lead and mentor the project manager to ensure cross-functional alignment, gateway processes and on-time deliveries
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to build strong partnerships and ensure smooth project workflows
Requirements:
- Work experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in product management or product development, ideally in the beauty or consumer goods industry
- Language skills: You speak German at native level and communicate confidently and precisely with our internal and external teams
- Regulatory & Compliance: You are familiar with the relevant regulations and ensure products are always developed, labeled and communicated in compliance with the law
- Supplier & Stakeholder Management: You have experience working with suppliers and internal teams, can communicate requirements clearly and actively maintain relationships
- Project Management & Organization: You have experience managing complex development projects, are proficient with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) and implement processes in a structured way
- Analytical Thinking: You use data and metrics (e.g., Excel, BI tools) to make decisions, assess risks and successfully deliver projects
- Communication & Cross-functional Work: You work closely with different departments, provide well-founded advice to stakeholders and ensure clear information flows
- Ideation & Innovation: You contribute creative ideas to product development, are open to new concepts and help ensure products are innovative, on-brand and competitive
