Job Description

Product Engineer in the Accounting Domain designing AI-native ERP solutions. Working on Finance+ and Expenses+ modules in an innovative and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement features for Finance+ and Expenses+ (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable).
  • Translate accounting workflows into dynamic, event-driven FLOWs.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to embed agents for automated postings, compliance checks, anomaly detection.
  • Ensure solutions comply with IFRS, HGB, and local tax/regulatory requirements.
  • Build in fast cycles — leveraging AI-assisted spec writing, 2-week sprints, and collaborative prototyping.
  • Deliver intuitive, mobile-first, and AI-assisted experiences for finance users.
  • Partner with lighthouse customers to co-design and deliver high-value, real-world use cases.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in the Accounting/ERP domain (e.g., General Ledger, Controlling, Reporting, Auditing).
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud architectures, APIs, data models.
  • Knowledge of IFRS/HGB, tax, and compliance processes is highly valued.
  • Experience with AI-driven automation, workflows, or ERP financial modules is a strong plus.
  • Enthusiasm for Vibe Engineering: hands-on, collaborative, AI-augmented product building.
  • Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and passion for reimagining complex financial processes.
