Job Description
Product Intern focusing on AI & Innovation at CIS. Collaborating with teams to explore AI tools that enhance product development while ensuring cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate AI tools and techniques that can accelerate product ideation (e.g., generative AI for brainstorming, user story creation, and requirements gathering)
- Partner with product managers to prototype and test AI-assisted workflows that improve team efficiency
- Support testing efforts by identifying ways AI can enhance test case generation, coverage, and analysis
- Document findings, present recommendations, and contribute to the team's AI adoption roadmap
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and security teams to validate ideas
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (any year welcome) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Product Design, Business, or a related field
- Genuine interest in AI/ML and hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar)
- Strong curiosity about product management and how products are built
- Excellent communication skills — you can translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences
- Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and ownership
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Familiarity with product management frameworks (user stories, roadmaps, prioritization) is a plus
- Interest in or experience with programming and application development (any language or platform) is a plus
- Exposure to Lean thinking principles — you understand how to eliminate waste, run quick experiments, and iterate toward value is a plus
- Interest in cybersecurity or prior exposure to the field is a plus
- Experience with tools like Jira, Figma, Notion, or similar is a plus
- Any coursework or projects involving machine learning, NLP, or data analysis is a plus
