Job Description
Product manager for accounting at KPS Software GmbH handling internal financial systems. Collaborating with teams to analyze, define, and implement system requirements and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- You gather, analyze and define requirements for our internal accounting and billing system.
- You create User Acceptance Criteria (UACs) and ensure they are properly implemented by development.
- You work closely with our accounting team to document and refine existing and new workflows.
- You prioritize requirements and coordinate with our IT development teams.
- You stay up to date with legal requirements (HGB, tax laws, GoBD, SGB V/XI) and take them into account when designing processes and software.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid knowledge of accounting — ideally with hands-on experience in financial or payroll accounting.
- Experience in project management, ideally in digitization or software projects.
- Technical affinity and a basic understanding of software architectures and interfaces.
- Fluent German and good English.
- You are structured, analytical, and communicate clearly with a solution-oriented approach.
