Job Description

Product Manager for a platform improving lab testing quality and transparency in the food system. You'll drive product evolution and manage customer quality workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the platform that defines how quality is managed. Own the product that determines how products are tested, how quality decisions are made, and how transparency reaches the market.
  • Turn lab data into real business leverage. Find new ways to use lab data to solve real customer problems, enabling proactive decision-making, getting ahead of quality issues before they occur, and using verified data to drive transparency.
  • Modernize a category that still runs on manual workflows. Partner with brands to replace outdated processes with modern software tools that save customers meaningful time and effort.
  • Own product direction and execution. Set product direction with the founders, handle trade-offs about features, and manage the entire product lifecycle from definition to launch to iteration.
  • Stay connected to customers. Collaborate with sales and customers to understand real-life usage, gather feedback, and translate pain points into focused product developments.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of product management experience shipping B2B software (workflow-heavy products a strong plus).
  • Strong technical fluency: comfortable discussing data models, APIs/integrations, and system trade-offs; able to go deep with engineers (and ideally write lightweight code when helpful).
  • High-ownership, high-velocity operator: you can take ambiguous problems and turn them into shipped outcomes.
  • Strong product craft: you care about UX details, edge cases, and reliability—especially in operational software customers depend on.
  • Excellent communicator: clear writing, crisp thinking, and strong customer-facing presence.
  • Bias for action: you move fast with imperfect information and iterate quickly.

Benefits:

  • Health insurance
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Professional development opportunities
