Job Description
MoneyGram Product Manager owning payout rails connecting banks, wallets, and aggregators worldwide. Driving corridor strategy, partner integrations, rail performance, and payment roadmap prioritization.
Responsibilities:
- Own the payout rails roadmap, including which corridors, rails, and partners to add and in what order based on volume, cost, and customer demand
- Maintain a complete understanding of each corridor and payout method, including addressable volume, partner cost, speed, coverage, and conversion
- Work with Solutions Engineers to turn partner API specifications into platform requirements and decide what to build once versus configure per partner
- Define how the performance of every rail is measured, instrument those measures, review them, and act on them
- Turn recurring partner and operations friction into roadmap items to remove root causes
- Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineers and with engineering, Compliance, Operational, and Commercial teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product management in payments, fintech, or banking, with at least 2 years on a payments, payouts, or partner integration product
- Working knowledge of payment rails and message standards: ISO 20022, instant versus deferred batch clearing, alias and account resolution, settlement versus clearing
- Practical understanding of REST and JSON APIs, authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0 and mTLS, webhooks, and idempotency
- Ability to read a partner API specification and a raw request and response trace
- Clear writing of product requirements and updates for engineers, partners, and executives
- Demonstrated ownership of work crossing engineering, commercial, and external partners
- Experience prioritising a roadmap against limited engineering capacity and saying no with evidence
