Job Description
Product Owner ensuring a world class partner portal experience for Kapitus third-party sales partners. Collaborating with various teams to deliver valuable features and meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Craft a vision and strategy based on input from customers, stakeholders, and development team.
- Develop feedback loops with stakeholders and customers to validate ideas and drive decisions.
- Work daily with development and analytics teams to clarify vision, requirements, and priorities.
- Collaborate with sales and 3rd party partners to position products in the marketplace.
- Continuously adapt the plan by adjusting scope and priorities to deliver valuable solutions.
- Balance value of deliverables with associated cost and risk.
- Own the product backlog, balancing directions from multiple stakeholders.
- Define user stories ready for the development team.
- Analyze competitor landscapes and market trends for product innovation opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner with a track record of delivering measurable business value.
- Specific experience working with sales teams and externally facing digital properties.
- Required expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Deep experience managing Agile backlogs and partnering with engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of sales systems. Familiarity with lending products and underwriting workflows a plus.
- Experience working with API-based integrations and distributed systems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform decision-making.
- Proven ability to operate independently and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with third-party channel partners and building partner portals preferred.
- CSPO, PSPO, or similar Agile certification preferred.
