Job Description
Product Strategy Manager evaluating healthcare market opportunities, investments, and roadmap priorities at Bamboo Health. Building financial models and executive recommendations for improved care outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend strategic investments, growth opportunities, and market expansion initiatives
- Build understanding of the healthcare landscape, customers, buyers, and competitive markets
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and AI-driven healthcare changes
- Size market opportunities using TAM/SAM/SOM analysis
- Develop business cases incorporating market potential, customer value, competitive differentiation, financial impact, and risk
- Build financial models and projections for bookings, profitability, and investment value
- Evaluate product investments and inform roadmap priorities and tradeoffs
- Develop recommendations for solution packaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, External Affairs, and Engineering
- Prepare executive-ready recommendations and materials for leadership meetings, board communications, and customer advisory boards
- Lead strategic analyses from initial question through recommendation
- Explore AI and automation opportunities to improve workflows
- Report to the VP of Product Strategy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, healthcare, or in-house strategy roles
- Value-based care and behavioral health experience is a plus
- Experience developing business cases with value proposition, competitive differentiation, market dynamics, quantitative bookings forecasts, and profitability projections
- Business financial fluency and understanding of key business unit financial KPIs
- Ability to create succinct executive-level materials for the executive team and board
- Strong desire and willingness to learn
- Ability to work productively with and drive alignment and consensus among internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience driving projects from start-to-finish with predictable cadence across diverse disciplines
- Ability to influence executive-level decision makers through data-driven recommendations and strategic storytelling
- Passion for improving healthcare outcomes
- Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools such as ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving environments
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment
- Ability to travel periodically for work
