Job Description
Strategic initiatives director at Centene, connecting people to healthcare through Provider Data Operations strategy and execution. Leading cross-functional projects, change, and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives advancing Provider Data Operations priorities
- Translate strategy into actionable plans and align business and technology partners
- Navigate complex dependencies and drive initiatives from concept through implementation
- Direct the strategic planning process and establish key processes
- Monitor and manage key deliverables of the strategic plan
- Build cross-functional relationships to implement business strategies
- Provide project management for key initiatives and critical projects
- Partner with business leaders and senior leaders to complete tactical and strategic initiatives
- Consult with and influence senior management across functions
- Advise business leaders on strategic and tactical decisions
- Support financial, sales, and operations reporting and analysis
- Lead change through oversight and management of key stakeholders and owners
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing new business strategies
- 5+ years of experience working in a managed care environment
- Strong financial and analytical background
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to travel 25–50%
