Job Description
Program Financial Analyst supporting CACI's SCOPES defense program. Managing budgets, forecasts, funding, invoices, and financial reporting for government operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a CACI Program Financial Analyst supporting the US Southern Command Operations Planning and Engagement Support (SCOPES) Program
- Create, maintain, and report all Task Order financial data
- Develop baseline budgets, forecasts, and Estimates at Completion for monthly and annual program costs
- Update forecasts and EACs monthly using actual costs and updated projections
- Track and analyze monthly variances and trends
- Coordinate with CACI corporate contract and financial resources to ensure contractual cost reporting compliance
- Coordinate contract pricing updates and prepare Rough Order of Magnitude estimates
- Prepare spreadsheets, financial presentations, briefing charts, and ad hoc financial reports
- Track funding at funding-source and project levels related to MIPRs
- Monitor and report CLINs as expended costs approach 75% of funding
- Attend monthly Integrated Program Reviews and other battle rhythm events requiring financial support
- Review project costs, account accuracy, and cost allocations; coordinate corrections
- Review subcontractor invoices and employee/subcontractor timecards
- Manage subcontractor funding in accordance with client funding
- Coordinate prime invoices and detailed backup documentation, including accruals
- Identify cost-control improvements and process enhancements for financial recordkeeping and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field
- 5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in project/program management, quantitative analysis, or financial analysis
- An MBA degree may be considered as a substitute for two years of applicable work experience
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and laws related to budgeting and resource management
- Proficiency in automated program planning software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles
- Prior experience with resource planning and understanding of budgeting practices
- Experience interfacing with the Program Manager and the Customer in an advisory capacity
- Desired: 5+ years of experience tracking Federal/DoD financial contracts and supporting the creation and tracking of financial deliverables
- Ability to analyze complex information and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
