Job Description
WWF project management specialist coordinating strategic planning, Roadmap 2030, and governance initiatives. Supporting executive communications, stakeholder engagement, project tracking, and leadership meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain visibility across active projects and priorities within the Director General's Office portfolio
- Coordinate weekly project review meetings and maintain action and decision trackers
- Monitor deadlines, follow up with project owners, and track dependencies, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare dashboards, progress reports, briefing notes, agendas, presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials
- Support development of the WWF International Strategic Plan and the Network Working Group on Roadmap 2030
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, interviews, consultations, and governance discussions
- Follow up with workstream leads, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Identify emerging risks, delays, or bottlenecks and escalate issues appropriately
- Maintain organised, current, and accessible strategic-planning documentation
- Coordinate stakeholder inputs and support engagement activities
- Maintain databases, trackers, calendars, filing systems, document version control, and project records
- Provide temporary project management, coordination, and strategic support to the Special Advisor to the Director General
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, executive support, administration, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously across numerous projects
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication and editing skills in English
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Planner
- Excellent project tracking and follow-through capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with colleagues
- Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
