Job Description
Project Manager overseeing project timelines and financials at Perceptive in medical imaging. Leading teams and managing stakeholder expectations to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of timelines, milestone and financials throughout the project lifecycle
- Working directly with clients and other stakeholders across the business matrix
- Provide leadership to the respective project team(s)
- Managing expectations effectively and ensuring quality and performance standards are reflected
- Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
- Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders
- Adopts appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches
- Ensures Quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure
- Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off
- Provides effective leadership to the project team and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances
- Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities
- Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken
- Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change
- Investigates and reports on hazards and potential risk events within a specific function or business area
- Monitors and maintains all required financial records for compliance and audit to all agreed requirements
- Assists all other areas of IT with their financial tasks
- Contributes to financial planning and budgeting
- Works to ensure that all project related financial requirements are understood and achieved
- Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan
- Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information
- Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management
- Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
- Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders
- Experience of working with cloud deployment of enterprise solutions to the life sciences
- Experience of working with cloud deployment of Regulatory enterprise solutions
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum), UML, Object Oriented, Data Modelling, Process Modelling and/or other development methodologies
- Experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences and regulatory sectors
- Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role
- Proven working experience of project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience
- English: Fluent
